Christmas in July – Peace on Earth

Stampin Up demonstrator – Crafty Little Minx – Christmas in July – Peace on Earth

Happy Saturday everyone. Its been quite rainy and blustery here over the last few days with almost wintery tones.  So it felt a little more appropriate to be posting the cards from my recent Christmas in July class. Today’s card was the first design that popped in my head when I saw this fabulous new bundle.

The background is sponged to give an ombre sky and was really fun to do. what do you think?

I just love the cute night sky die  and took that as a lead to paint some highlights on the tree line. I then added a little wink of stella to make the trees literally shine in the moonlight.

Christmas in July – Carols of Christmas

Stampin Up demonstrator – Crafty Little Minx – Christmas in July – Carols of Christmas

Well this weekend I’m going to continue with showcasing the cards we made at my recent Christmas in July class using the fabulous new Carols of Christmas Stamp set and dies bundle which is available to purchase from Tuesday 1st August as a pre-order.

This is another super simple card that would be really easy to make in bulk for Christmas, but this time I paired it with some of the products from the annual Catalogue.

I love monochromatic style cards. The base is matted with embossed vellum with a simple swirly scribbles die in gold foil which really sets off the stunning double trees dies in the new Card Front builder thinlits dies

Now I bet you have already spotted that the vellum is stuck down and that’s notoriously tricky to do without showing the adhesive. My top TIP is to carefully emboss the background so it hangs over the edges of the pre-cut vellum and then use the embossing to hide a thin layer of multipurpose tombow glue. Simples!

Christmas in July – Deck the Halls

Stampin Up demonstrator – Crafty Little Minx – Christmas in July – Deck the Halls

Tonight I’m posting a little late as I have my Christmas in July class and I don’t want to spoil the surprise for the attendees.

DSCN3857

We are using the beautiful Carols for Christmas Stamp set which is available for early pre-order from 1st August. And as if that is not enough there is a stunning coordinating die set that you can purchase along side in a money saving bundle.

The 2017 Autumn/Winter catalogue is available to order from until 1st September, so if you want to get your hands on a copy and don’t currently have a demonstrator then register by mail for copy when they arrive in mid August. If you have ordered from me in the last 6 months you will automatically receive one.

I absolutely adore this bold sentiment and was so quick to make. I have a feeling that this set will be very popular with those of us that have to make large quantities of cards each year.

Love this card? Place an order by 31st July and you will receive the class tutorial for this card and the other projects in this class.

Update – Daisy Punch

Stampin Up demonstrator – Crafty Little Minx – Update – Daisy Punch

I’m delighted to share that the Daisy Punch is back in stock several days earlier than expected! So the item numbers for the punch and the stamp set/punch combo bundle have been turned back on. Thanks for your patience as we waited for the restock of  what has turned out to be the most popular punch in the last five years!

DSCN3762

Love this card? It’s one that featured in our recent Summer Stampin School and is a very quick and simple design. Place an order in July and you will receive the tutorial for this card

NOTE: I would not wait around too long to order this punch. I suspect that it may sell out again soon based on the number of questions I have received and the chatter on face book. Its always tricky for the Stampin’ Up procurement team to anticipate the demand for a particular product. So as in this case it can take a little time to manufacture and transport   So, word to the wise… order it sooner rather than later!
